Raul Ibanez prevented every Phillies fan from talking only about the pitching. The left fielder drilled a 2-0 pitch into the right field seats in the bottom of the ninth to give the Phillies a 5-4 victory on Sunday afternoon. The Phils were trailing 4-3 after the top of the ninth.
It was his fourth career walk-off home run. His last was Aug. 7, 2008, off of Dan Wheeler.
Ryan Howard led off the inning with a bloop single to center before Ibanez's fireworks. The Phillies had been 0-5 when trailing after eight innings.
