Apr. 25, 2009 (Morning Call delivered by Newstex ) --

First you hit, then you catch.

In the first game of his weekend rehab assignment with the IronPigs Phillies catcher Carlos Ruiz?will be the designated hitter, hitting seventh.

With Marson at DH, Mike Cervenak goes to third base, pushing J.J. Furmaniak out of the lineup. Also, Rich Thompson returns in center, with Jeremy Slaydon taking the night off as Jason Ellison moves to left.

Ruiz is scheduled to catch?for the IronPIgs Sunday and Monday, then play one more game at Reading Tuesday. If all goes well he?could be activated Wednesday for the Phillies ?home game with Washington, which would mean Lou Marson could?be back in an IronPigs uniform as early as?Wednesday night when they play the second game of their two-game series at?Scranton.

Marson is hitting .333 in 12 at-bats with the Phillies and is in the lineup at Florida tonight.
