We Don't Need No Stinking A-Rod

If this theory is true, let's put it to the test by replacing A-Rod with a tried-and-true Yankee third baseman who's definitely got what it takes to win a title. Grading Ruben

Ruben Amaro Jr. is wrapping up his first offseason as the Phillies' GM, so how did he do? Sure, the Raul Ibanez signing looks like an even worse value after the free-agent market died, but Amaro did get rid of Adam Eaton. That alone should get him a five-year grace period with Philly fans. Then again, they might miss having such a reliable target for their boos.

Desperately Seeking Answers

Questions abound as the new MLB season looms, from whether or not Travis Hafner is toast to whether the Brew Crew's rotation can win to "Do you think I could buy a Bud Selig wig somewhere? If I could pair that with a wrinkled navy blazer, I'd have a killer Halloween costume."
